This is something I've mentioned quite a few times on this blog. I've talked about how I, on many occasions, have had to do a search or two for inspiration for posts for my blog. Sometimes, this makes me feel like I'm not a "good blogger," or even an adequate one. This thinking can get tough. It has made me want to just stop blogging altogether. My mind ends up going to thoughts such as, "If I can't come up with my own ideas, then why am I doing this?"
As someone who's struggled with this kind of thinking, I wanted to create this blog post. It's a way to tell myself, and others who struggle with thoughts like mine, that it's okay.
It's okay to get ideas for your book blog - or any blog - by browsing around on the internet. There are very few "original" ideas out there in the world for blogs and blog posts. All you can do is put your own, unique take on any ideas you find out there.
It's okay to not have new post ideas for every single day, week, or month of every single year. You can start series. You can revamp old posts. It's your blog - do what you want to do with it.
It's okay to not post every single day, week, or month. Breaks from writing, drafting, scheduling, and publishing posts are needed.
It's okay to personalize your blog to you and your needs in any way. Whether it's your posting schedule, what you want to post, or in any other way.
