This is the second of the Seasonal 2021 Reading Recommendation posts I'll be doing on this blog. I really hope you enjoy these posts. Please remember that these Seasonal Reading Recommendation posts may overlap with each other a little bit, depending on the book(s) mentioned in each post.
It's Summer, and you're looking for some books that fit the vibes of the season. And with Covid-19 still a big part of many of our lives, finding inspiration to read can be tough. Hopefully, this post helps you out a bit during this time with finding Spring feeling books to read during this time.
Note: I did originally want to post this when summer "officially" began for the Nothern Hemisphere, which was June 20th. However, I took a break from posting for the majority of June. I also figured that it was still fine to post this now.

So here are 10 books I recommend reading in the summer:
- Helen of Troy, Margaret George
- The Iliad and The Odyssey, Homer (any version or translation)
- The Paris Orphan, Natasha Lester
- The Paris Seamstress, Natasha Lester
- The Paris Secret, Natasha Lester
- Circe, Madeline Miller
- The Song of Achilles, Madeline Miller
- The Mummy (Ramses the Damned #1), Anne Rice
- The Passion of Cleopatra (Ramses the Damned #2), Anne Rice & Christopher Rice
- The Fountains of Silence, Ruta Sepetys
Honorable Mentions:
- The Arabian Nights, Sir Richard Burton
- The Hero With A Thousand Faces, Joseph Campbell
- The Hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkien
- The Aeneid, Virgil
