This is a post idea I had way back in late July. I had added the autobiographies/memoirs of Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, and Alex Trebek to my August 2021 TBR. This got me thinking about the books I'd like to read once a year, at least, because these three books are definitely included in the list below.
I know that re-reading is a bit of a "controversial" topic in the bookish community. This is something that absolutely confounds me. However, I won't go into too much detail about this since I've already discussed it in a Controversial Bookish Topic by this point.

Here are 12 books I plan to read once a year for the foreseeable future. (If all goes to plan, that is.)
- The Paris Orphan, Natasha Lester
- The Paris Seamstress, Natasha Lester
- The Paris Secret, Natasha Lester
- The Riviera House, Natasha Lester
- Circe, Madeline Miller
- The Song of Achilles, Madeline Miller
- A Promised Land, Barack Obama
- Becoming, Michelle Obama
- Washington's Spies, Alexander Rose
- The Answer Is..., Alex Trebek
- A Treasury of Irish Fairy and Folk Tales, Various
- The Book Thief, Markus Zusak
