12 Books I Plan to Read Once a Year

This is a post idea I had way back in late July. I had added the autobiographies/memoirs of Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, and Alex Trebek to my August 2021 TBR. This got me thinking about the books I'd like to read once a year, at least, because these three books are definitely included in the list below.

I know that re-reading is a bit of a "controversial" topic in the bookish community. This is something that absolutely confounds me. However, I won't go into too much detail about this since I've already discussed it in a Controversial Bookish Topic by this point.

Here are 12 books I plan to read once a year for the foreseeable future. (If all goes to plan, that is.)
  1. The Paris Orphan, Natasha Lester
  2. The Paris Seamstress, Natasha Lester
  3. The Paris Secret, Natasha Lester
  4. The Riviera House, Natasha Lester
  5. Circe, Madeline Miller
  6. The Song of Achilles, Madeline Miller
  7. A Promised Land, Barack Obama
  8. Becoming, Michelle Obama
  9. Washington's Spies, Alexander Rose
  10. The Answer Is..., Alex Trebek
  11. A Treasury of Irish Fairy and Folk Tales, Various
  12. The Book Thief, Markus Zusak
