I Started Listening to Audiobooks in Libby

This may seem unusual, given how often I've recommended Libby. It may also seem unusual because I always recommend listening to audiobooks. However, until August 31, I hadn't listened to any of the audiobooks in the Libby app. (This is, of course, despite having some in my books pile in the Libby app.)

Most of my reasoning came out of perceived convenience. When I borrow ebooks from Libby, I usually select "Read with Kindle" if I am able to. With audiobooks, there's no "Read with Audible" feature for the Libby app - you have to listen to them in the app. (I listen to most of my books using AudibleAnd this may not seem like a big issue, but - as I've said, it was a perceived inconvenience. I'm not the hugest fan of reading within the Libby app, so I had avoided it as much as possible.

What do I think of the Libby audiobooks? Honestly, I think I may prefer Libby audiobooks slightly more than Audible. Although it's only a slight preference: both Libby and Audible have their uses as audiobook apps.

I started out by listening to Emile Bronte's Wuthering Heights via Libby. This was a book that I had to read way back in high school, but I couldn't get into it back then. However, listening to Wuthering Heights as an audiobook in Libby helped me get into the story a bit better. The plotline isn't my favorite of the classics, but I'm not a big fan of many of the classics.

What kind of books do I plan to listen to in the future in Libby? I plan to continue listening to the classics since audiobooks seem to be a great way to read them in my opinion. Additionally, I might give some YA books a try as audiobooks since I've often wanted to try some of them, but I haven't wanted to invest in a physical or electronic book in one form or another.
