While I was writing up yesterday's post, 4 Unpopular Bookish Things I Actually Do, I posted to my bookstagram story to see if my followers do anything that's considered "unpopular" in the bookish community.
Hopefully, this post - along with yesterday's post - will help to normalize these things within the bookish community. I think many of us in the bookish community need to have the mindset of "Just because I don't like to do something with my books doesn't mean someone else can't do it."
So here are 5 of the most common responses of things that my instagram followers do,
Some dog-ear their books.
Some read books they own before buying new ones.
Some write in their books (marginalia).
Some have no specific organization to their bookshelf (or shelves) and just stick the books wherever they fit.
Some use mostly audiobooks.
